About Marriage in focus
Marriage in Focus is a 501(c)(3) Christian marriage ministry. We exist to glorify God by impacting marriages. Our mission is to resource couples with Biblical principles for a godly marriage and create experiences that refresh them allowing them to connect meaningfully with God and one another.

Do you know God’s vision for your marriage?
We all enter marriage excited for what’s ahead, but as the memory of the wedding fades it’s easy to forget the purpose of marriage. Life’s activity demands attention, distractions come, and it's all too easy to lose focus of what matters. This is more than just a battle of scheduling or balance; it’s a spiritual one. From the beginning, the enemy of God has been dividing marriages, impacting generations of families.

Why does he do this? Because a healthy marriage displays the love and nature of God as few things can. Man and woman were designed in the image of God to be in partnership with God and one another, to be image bearers of God. To live this truth, we need to be able to see God's design for marriage.

If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. Proverbs 29:18 MSG

Do you want your marriage to be blessed and to be a blessing? You need to be able to see what God has for you. That's what vision is...being able to see and think about the future with wisdom. You just have to FOCUS.

When we understand God’s design for marriage, we gain a different perspective. As we begin to see more clearly, communication is more meaningful, sexual intimacy is strengthened, and marriages thrive

Many people have never seen what a healthy marriage looks like, don’t even know what to look for or where to start. Studying Jesus as our model, we will see clearly how to love and serve one another. As you make investments in your marriage, you will see big dividends. Whether you currently have an average marriage or great marriage, God has more for you!

God’s Design for Marriage
The incredible truth is this: Marriage is designed by God, created for God and was never intended to be lived apart from God. One man and one woman, together with God at the center, to display his character and nature to the world. We are married not just for our pleasure, but to be on co-mission together with God.

For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. Genesis 2:24-25
‍
And that final verse shows God’s design for marriage. Naked and unashamed. A beautiful partnership of unity, trust, transparency, vulnerability, security and freedom.
